The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our Euless, Texas manufacturing plant for a full-time first Shift Experienced Maintenance Technician (Operator II) to join our team!

Work Schedule: First Shift - Flex Time (6am - 2:30pm - 8am - 4:30pm)
Starting hourly wage: $23.90+
Plant/Work Location: 410 South Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA 91789 (new location Summer 2024)
(current location; 4701 East Airport Drive, Ontario, CA)

Requirements
Whatspecificallywill you be doing?

• Installs, repairs and maintains high voltage systems: motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring and other electrical system equipment.
• Perform a variety of maintenance repair (building infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic) and preventative repair on manual and CNC equipment with limited direction and guidance
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and plumbing breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Follow designated work instructions as outlined for specific functions. These include, but are not limited to: PM work orders, continuous improvement tasks, new installation line-ups, and repair/refurbish assignments

What do we need from you?

• Experience in a job shop, machining, and manufacturing environment is preferred
• Trade school or an Associates Degree.
• Demonstrated ability to complete a maintenance task from beginning to end, providing high quality customer service.

Work Environment
The work environment is typical of most shop environments, not climate controlled and subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

• Frequent exposure to fumes/dust particles; may require use of respirators or other types of PPE.
• May come in contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
