Job Summary and Qualifications

The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for providing physical conditioning, reconditioning, risk factor reduction and education through exercise prescription, supervised exercise and educational programs in Cardiac, Pulmonary and/or Vascular Rehabilitation. On our experienced team, you will contribute to an exceptional level of coordinated care throughout treatment for all patients. • You will evaluate the overall health of patients, with special attention to cardiovascular function and metabolism.
• You will administer exercise stress tests and other evaluation tools.
• You will develop individualized exercise prescriptions to increase physical fitness, strength, endurance and flexibility.
• You will assist with setting up the exercise room, equipment and supplies.
• You will assist with cleaning and sanitizing exercise room and equipment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree.
• Exercise Physiologist, or Exercise Specialist, or Masters Degree.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No Travel Travel Required.
• 2 years experience Required Years of Experience.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center.
