Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Exercise Physiologist provides effective care of a diverse range of inpatient/outpatient cardiac patients, collaborating with Physician, Technicians, Nurses, Allied Health Practitioners, and Volunteers. With our experienced team, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional level of coordinated care throughout treatment to all patients. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What You Will Do In This Role
- You will assist with initial and daily assessments of patients, prepare patients for telemetry monitoring, modify and monitor exercise prescriptions, record patient data, document daily notes and assist with other patient related activities as assigned by Manager.
- You will transport patients safely.
- You will assist with setting up the exercise room, equipment and supplies.
- You will assist patients with exercise sessions.
- You will identify and respond to any EKG changes, arrhythmia and/or change in patient’s condition.
What Qualifications You Will Need
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology
- Completed internship or clinical in Cardiac Rehab

The facility provides a wide array of cardiac services. Services include complex vascular and heart surgery and advanced heart failure treatment. We offer minimally invasive vascular surgery and other specialized heart care. The facility has a dedicated cardiac emergency room. Medical City Spine Hospital has 25+ beds. It provides spine care for common spine disorders. Spine care is also provided for rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities. Those include adult and pediatric scoliosis and spondylolistheses. We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
