The CalSTRS Investments Branch is seeking an experienced individual to work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst on the Executive team.
Under the direction of the Investment Executive Unit Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support, coordinating special projects, and drafting and providing training on policies and business processes. The incumbent will perform the more responsible, varied, and complex technical, analytical and consultative duties requiring a high degree of independence, flexibility, and tact.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Experience providing administrative support for executive leadership
- Experience coordinating travel and managing calendars
- Experience creating, editing, and proofing documents
- Excellent written and oral communications skills

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team to support team, unit, and Investments Branch goals
- Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and effectively present information

- Ability to research and analyze complex issues with strong attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate issues and recommend resolutions

- Ability to maintain a high degree of diplomacy and tact while interacting with a broad range of staff
Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,208.00 - $85,368.00 per year
