Award winning modern American restaurant Trummer's is seeking a strong Sous Chef. We are an ambitious, seasonal restaurant located in northern Virginia. We believe in sourcing the best seasonal products and use as much local products available. Menu changes frequently and creative input is encouraged in this role.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of Sous Chef experience at a reputable restaurant, but willing to consider a strong experienced cook with a solid resume ready to take the next step. Applicants should possess the following traits:
-sense of urgency
-experience in stocks and sauces
-leader by example
-clean, organized and cooks with finesse
-able to take specific direction and cook with great instinct
