As the Executive Producer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the post-production and physical production workflows. We are seeking a strategic thinker with a strong background in managing both creative and technical aspects of production and post production to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality content.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the post-production and physical production teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Extensive experience in video production, from conceptualization and scriptwriting to execution and post-production.
- Demonstrated ability to create impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Manage staffing requirements for post-production projects, including hiring freelancers or assigning tasks to in-house team members.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of necessary equipment and technology for the post-production team.
- Collaborate with Production Manager, Producers, Directors, and other stakeholders to execute creative visions effectively.
- Develop and implement efficient post-production and physical production workflows while maximizing resources.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to enhance processes.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Production to manage budgets for post-production and physical production departments.
- Provide strong leadership to the post-production and physical production teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are met in all post-production and physical production deliverables.
- Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality of the final product.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities when needed.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as an Executive Producer or in a similar leadership role within post-production and physical production.
- In-depth knowledge of post-production workflows, editing processes, and physical production logistics.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and technologies.
