Executive Housekeeper | Manhattan Ny | Dutchess County, Ny

Seeking a full-time Executive Housekeeper (EHK) with substantial experience to oversee two prestigious properties. The role encompasses the management of a 4,000 sq. ft. single-level NoMad apartment and a 6,000 sq. ft. multi-level home located in Dutchess County. Additionally, the Executive Housekeeper will provide personalized support to the family, consisting of two adults, two young children, and another on the way, during their stays.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment alongside other traveling household staff, including chefs, a nanny, and an Estate Concierge. This position demands a service-oriented, self-motivated, and trustworthy individual who exhibits proactive initiative in maintaining the residences to impeccable standards. Reporting directly to the Estate Concierge, the Executive Housekeeper will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the residences are consistently prepared for immediate use, requiring hands-on support, meticulous cleaning, and adept vendor management when necessary.

Attention to detail is paramount, as the house must consistently meet the highest standards. Candidates with a calm, mindful, pleasant, and empathetic demeanor will resonate well with this family.

During the Principals' residency, the Executive Housekeeper will extend personal support to the family and their guests, while also liaising with the primary residence team in Miami as the local on-the-ground resource. Responsibilities will include a range of housekeeping and laundry tasks, as well as setting and clearing lunchtime tables, and managing vendors as needed. Although the position is live-out, occasional hotel stays may be required during inclement weather, as the properties are situated 90 miles apart. Ideally, candidates will be located in the New York or CT area, facilitating daily travel to either the New York City or Upstate NY property. The family is open to collaborating on the weekly schedule to accommodate consecutive days in both locations.

• Management of Two Properties: The selected candidate will oversee operations at two properties located 90 miles apart.
• Commuting Expectations: Ideally, the candidate should be accustomed to a similar position involving commuting between NYC and the Hamptons, although the drive upstate is notably less congested.
• Schedule Management: The candidate will be responsible for managing their schedule between the properties, unless the Principals are in residence.
• Residence Schedule: When the Principals are in residence, they typically spend 5-10 days per month in NYC and the duration varies for the Upstate property.
• Onsite Property Management: The Upstate property benefits from having a property management team onsite.
