Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our Real Estate Management team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with various administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in finance and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciling statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Conduct research and gather data for financial audits
- Assist with payroll processing and employee management
- Support the finance and management teams with ad-hoc projects, scheduling, followups and tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suites (Google Sheets) along with data entry
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices
