Job Description:
- Build and maintain a strong volunteer base and effective board of directors; select, develop, coach, reward and recognize these individuals
- Be accountable for managing financial activities
- Provide a positive partnering connection with organizations that provide financial or volunteer support to The Dragonfly Project (TDP)
- Consult on, be involved with, and approve large projects, major TDP website changes, celebration planning, and the bi-annual Buzzette newsletter
- Make appearances and/or be involved with marketing, outreach, or fundraising events in the community
- Respond to communications
- Strives to meet the characteristics of an Executive Director as listed below
- This is a part-time job with the expectation of 8-16 hours per month, depending on the time of year
- Must reside in the Twin Cities area

Article V-Director and Staff
Section 1 – Executive Director: The Executive Director is hired by the board. The Executive Director has day-to-day responsibilities for the organization, including carrying out the organization’s goals and policies. The Executive Director will attend all board meetings, report on the progress of the organization, answer questions of board members and carry out the duties described in the job description. The board can designate other duties as necessary.
