Description

Do you strive to make a difference in higher education? Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity to be a part of our students’ education success and lifelong learning? We invite you to apply to the WCTC Foundation as Executive Director.
For almost 50 years, the WCTC Foundation has provided an avenue for students to achieve their educational goals through charitable giving. The mission of the WCTC Foundation is to secure charitable resources to assist WCTC students in achieving their educational goals. Since 1977, the WCTC Foundation has been instrumental in supporting student success by providing scholarships and need-based grants. In addition, the WCTC Foundation has an extensive role in fundraising for capital campaign and operational needs.
Under the direction of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and with collaboration from the WCTC President, the Executive Director develops and implements a comprehensive fundraising and community relations program with specific long-range and short-range goals and objectives that support the college’s mission and goals, creating and executing an effective strategy to establish strong support and lasting relationships with various constituencies to advance the mission and resources of the College. The position also provides leadership to manage and coordinate the Foundation’s scholarship program, annual giving, major gifts, planned gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni/donor relations, special events, and specific campaigns.
For the past 100 years, WCTC has played an integral role in the economic engine of Waukesha County and southeastern Wisconsin. Under the leadership of WCTC President Richard Barnhouse, the College has set forth a new trajectory to change higher education in the region. Because of this, WCTC has seen growth in both student enrollment and facility expansion. The support and evolution of the WCTC Foundation could not be more crucial to the future success of the College and its students.
