Executive Director of the Centerfor Learning
The Executive Director for the Center for Learning (CFL) at Bronson Healthcare Group is at the helm of fostering a transformative learning environment across our expansive network. This pivotal role is dedicated to designing, coordinating, and providing education through the Bronson Center for Learning (CFL) to our diverse workforce, including staff, leaders, volunteers, and medical staff, as well as to our valued community members. The Executive Director will align the learning agenda with the organization's strategic directions, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director for the Center for Learning (CFL) at Bronson Healthcare Group is at the helm of fostering a transformative learning environment across our expansive network. This pivotal role is dedicated to designing, coordinating, and providing education through the Bronson Center for Learning (CFL) to our diverse workforce, including staff, leaders, volunteers, and medical staff, as well as to our valued community members. The Executive Director will align the learning agenda with the organization's strategic directions, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute a comprehensive learning and organizational development strategy to support and advance Bronson system's short and long-term objectives.
  • Learning Management: Oversee the creation, implementation, and evaluation of robust learning programs that enhance workforce competencies, promote leadership development, organizational development solutions designed to ensure teams are patient focused and engaged, and ensure seamless orientation and continuous education.
  • Talent Development: Spearhead initiatives to identify, nurture, and retain top talent, fostering an environment that encourages career growth and leadership progression. This also includes community outreach to ensure talent pipelines are built beginning in grade school through high school.
  • Performance and Quality Improvement: Develop performance management frameworks that drive excellence and accountability, integrating innovative feedback and coaching methodologies.
  • Inclusivity and Engagement: Champion diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that all organizational development initiatives create a sense of belonging and equity and promote diversity with inclusion.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to assess educational needs and devise strategies that cater to the diverse requirements of our workforce.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the daily operations, budget, and staff of the Bronson Center for Learning Departments including Library Services/Health Answers and Meeting and Event Resources, maintaining exacting standards of organizational development, training, and customer service.
  • Compliance and Integration: Ensure adherence to all regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements, playing a key role in the onboarding and integration of new entities within the Bronson Healthcare Group.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within a healthcare setting, preferably having system wide oversight.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing coaching and mentoring skills among leaders
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, presentation tools, and familiarity with audio-visual equipment for educational purposes.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation, presentation, and teaching.
  • Experience in system wide strategic planning initiatives.
  • Experience in collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to advocate for organizational transformations, foster equitable practices, and bolster support for community stakeholders.
  • Experience in communication, collaboration, and mobilization of resources and people
  • Strong background in team leadership, system and infrastructure transformation and implementing of equitable programs and solutions.
  • Experience with needs assessment processes for either individuals or organizations.
