Personal care and memory care community located in the coastal Georgia area is seeking an experienced and hard working person to assume the role of Executive Director. The ideal candidate must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly as well as leadership and management skills in retirement living management.
Responsibilities:
The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility and will ensure the community operates in accordance with resident needs and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. You will manage the occupancy goals as well as maintain appropriate staffing levels. Additional responsibilities include:
- Reviewing bills and statements
- Analyzing revenue projections
- Making adjustments when revenue sources decrease
- Networking with outside referral sources
- Maintaining positive relationships with residents, their families and staff
- Participating in and conducting marketing in and around the community for residents, community services and staff recruitment
- Ensuring the building and grounds are maintains to our cleanliness standards and are in good repair.
- Manage the hiring and evaluation of staff and, when needed, termination
- Coordinate and/or conduct in-service training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs to ensure staff is properly trained and meets requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree
- Personal Care Home Administrators License
- Previous Executive Director or Assistant Director experience in a retirement community required
- This is a fast-paced position for a person with strong organization and communication skills.
- Proven track record of leadership

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
