Part-Time Executive Director (20-25 hours per week)
Location: Manthattan and remote (hybrid)
Organization: Million Dollar Women Fund
Start Date: June 1, 2024
About MDW Fund:
is a 501c (3) nonprofit organization based in New York City, dedicated to empowering women of color across the U.S. and Canada in scaling up their businesses.
Women of color entrepreneurs make $25-$50k in annual revenues on average (for Caucasian women the average is $100-$140k) and fewer than 1% of WOC reach $1 million in annual revenue. MDW Fund is part of changing these statistics through awarding scholarships used for business coaching, mentorship and access to capital.
The MDW Fund scholarships go to 30-40 women per year, and are funded by foundations, corporations, and individual donors. Since 2017 we have helped 140 women of color entrepreneurs gain access to business training, powerful networks, mentors and the capital they need to scale up their businesses. Now we are looking to 2x our budget and 10x our impact.
