The F&B Director of The Golden Hotel is for experienced professionals that want to multi-task, delegate and deliver. It entails management of both Bridgewater Grill and our robust Banquet/Catering operation. The ideal candidate is a solid communicator (multiple languages welcome), with impeccable organizational skills and expertise in labor and inventory management. Weekends, Holidays, evenings are mandatory. Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality.

Maintain open and professional communication with other department heads and supervisors to ensure the needs of the guests and team members are addressed timely. This includes but is not limited to the F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager and Banquet Manager.
Manages guest's concerns appropriately and resolves issues to the guest's satisfaction keeping business objectives in mind.
Ensure all budgets are managed properly and within the guidelines
Lead the team ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
Ensure attractive and consistent preparation of all food items.
Maintain a recipe book with clear measurements and directions.
Sets up, re-stocks and maintains clean food preparation areas.
Ensures proper food rotation and dating is in place.
Directs and participate in the preparation of kitchen staples and bulk items ensuring appropriate quantities to meet the needs of the business while limiting waste.
Seasonally creates new items to refresh the menu ensuring the cost structure is within the budgeted guidelines.
Work directly with the Banquet Manager to create menus ensuring pricing reflects an appropriate food cost.
Manage inventory and supplies by taking accurate inventories and ensuing pars meet the needs of the business.
Maintain an efficient operations and adherence to established safety and quality guidelines.
Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment and related areas, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Support the restaurant front of house team as needed.
Monitor service scores daily and take the appropriate action to ensure scores are communicated to the team and scores are acceptable.
Ensures the team attends all mandatory meetings and timely completes all required training.
Ability to grasp, bend, stoop and push, pull and lift 50lbs.
Experience for Success:
5-years of Kitchen food preparation and leadership
Culinary education or certification a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
Desire to work in a fast paced and interactive environment
Strong written and communication skills, additional language a plus
State required Food Handlers Certification
