Position Overview: The Executive Chef at Beach Plum Farm holds a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of menu creation, costing, and the flawless execution of all food and beverage operations. This pivotal position demands a seasoned culinary professional with a passion for excellence and a proven track record in the culinary arts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Agricultural Coordination: Coordinate and direct the agriculture team in planning planting schedules and requirements, fostering a seamless connection between the farm and kitchen.
Accurate Execution: Ensure precise execution of all Beach Plum Farm functions and events, maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Collaboration and Communication: Actively participate in departmental meetings and pre-shift huddles, fostering open communication and a collaborative work environment.
Recipe Database & Labor Management: Uphold an accurate and comprehensive recipe database, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish prepared.
Create schedules and monitor labor daily to reflect the goals of the farm and budget. Inventory Management: Conduct monthly inventories, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in tracking and managing food and beverage supplies. 
Seasonal Menus: Implement proper rotation of food and food products to maintain freshness. Craft seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, showcasing creativity and a deep understanding of seasonal ingredients.
Farm-to-Table Dinner Menu Planning: Develop and execute special menus with precision and creativity, catering to diverse culinary preferences and dietary requirements.
Costing and Financial Acumen: Ensure accurate and timely costing of all special event menus, demonstrating financial acumen in menu planning. Flexibility and Composure:
Team Collaboration: Demonstrate cooperative and supportive behavior with colleagues and supervisors, contributing to a positive team culture.
Culinary Versatility: Exhibit proficiency in cooking within a structured kitchen environment and adaptability to "live-fire" cooking scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef De Cuisine or in a similar leadership role. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passion for culinary innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
