Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Long Branch, NJ for a Pastry Chef. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing the bakery and pastry section of the restaurant. The Chef will also be responsible for creating new pastries, managing food preparations, baking, cooking, and demonstrating exceptional culinary skills on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Bakery and Pastry skills
- Food Preparation, Baking, and Cooking skills
- Culinary skills with experience creating desserts and breads
- Knowledge of food and safety regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a high-end restaurant is a plus
- Culinary school diploma or degree in related field
