Executive Chef, Hotel

Boutique luxury Carlsbad hotel is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee the entire property! Qualified candidates must have UNION, LUXURY HOTEL, AND BANQUET experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food service operations
- Create and execute menus for various dining options, including banquets and catering events
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume food service establishment
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food management, and culinary techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
