The ideal candidate will have a passion for seafood, a creative culinary vision, and a track record of successful menu development. As an integral member of our team, the Executive Chef will oversee culinary staff, manage food costs, and drive innovation in the kitchen.

Job Title: Executive Chef
Location: Porter Ranch, California.
We offer:
- Rate: $80-90K (based on experience)
- A competitive profit share program 20-40% target
Total Comp for $95-$125K

Requirements
- At least 3 years in an Executive Chef or similar executive-level role
- Experience with grand openings, including staffing a restaurant kitchen from scratch
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
Executive Chef skills and qualifications
Executive Chef use a variety of culinary skills and soft skills to lead kitchens and provide excellent meal service to our guests.
These skills include, but not limited to:
• Expert knowledge of the restaurant and/or concept (seafood expert)
• Advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavor pairings and other cooking best practices
• Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state and local food handling regulations
• Comfortable training, directing and supervising kitchen staff
• Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and organization
Salary Description
$80-$90K
