The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is actively seeking a cause driven leader to join the team as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Metropolitan Dallas YMCA.

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Assists the CEO, the Board Chair, and assigned Executive staff by providing high-level administrative support involving the use of discretion and independent judgment. Serves as the Executive Assistant to the Association Board and Committees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Arranges critical CEO meetings, calendaring and confirming objectives with both CEO and stakeholders, including all Board of Directors and committee meetings.
- Promptly writes and maintains all minutes for meetings of the Board, and assigned committees of the Association. Ensuring compliance with organizational bylaws and all state and federal regulations.
- Working closely with the CEO, researches and follows up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Maintains open lines of communication between the President's office and internal/external stakeholders.
- Oversees office functions for the Association office.
- Makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports.
- Utilizes online portal for board management. Maintains computer databases for various reports, committees, and mailings.
- Assists with special events as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 to 6 years experience.
- Three or more years of related experience working as Executive Assistant to high level executives or administrators, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Proficient in all standard business software.
- Knowledgeable about office processes and procedures.
- Ability to work with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach.
