Calmwater Capital is a private real estate lending firm based in El Segundo, CA focused on providing senior secured commercial real estate bridge loans to investors acquiring and refinancing multifamily, industrial residential, retail and hospitality projects across the U.S.
We have an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant to support the Co-Founder/Managing Principal. This position is for an employee with a well-rounded arsenal of administrative skills. An ideal candidate is professional, able to communicate with all levels of management and employees and be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. A genuine team player who can provide administrative assistance with a positive attitude is a must. A candidate for this position should expect to be in the office 5 days a week.
Job Description:
The candidate will provide support to the Co-Founder/Managing Principal. Responsibilities include calendaring, managing phones, travel arrangements, preparing presentations and coordinating internal and external meetings.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for:
• On-going calendar management and high-volume scheduling for a C-Level executive
• Phone coverage – answer, screen and roll calls as appropriate
• Book and actively manage domestic and international travel
• Generate and track expense reports
• General office administrative support in coordination with our Office Assistant
• Marketing responsibilities include coordinating press release execution between the PR company and internal team, managing team conferences, updating the company website and managing the company’s social media accounts
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years as an Executive Assistant or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
• Notary license highly preferred
Qualifications:
• Can juggle multiple projects and tasks at once, and has a flexible attitude towards constantly changing priorities
• Strong skill in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent, highly professional telephone skills
• Highly reliable and responsible
• Pro-active approach problem-solving
Compensation:
$70,000-90,000; full benefits; 401k match
