The Events Manager II will harness a dynamic fusion of creativity, organizational expertise, and meticulous attention to detail to assist in the creation, management, and flawless execution of a diverse array of events. These include executive summits, impactful brand activations, immersive customer events, thought-provoking workshops and internal stakeholder events. Your role is pivotal in crafting activations that showcase our products and services, elevating our brand presence and fostering meaningful connections with our diverse audience.
What You'll Do:
- Project manage high-touch events across different marketing and communications goals. You'll bring together key partners with individual goals and will drive progress toward a unified strategy through events
- Organize attendee information and assist in the processes for registration, guest experiences, and event communications
- Collaborative coordination and project oversight across diverse functional teams using Jira for seamless cross-functional follow-up and project management
- Execution of comprehensive on-site event support and seamless coordination, ensuring the flawless orchestration of all elements to guarantee a successful and memorable event experience
- Strategic oversight and meticulous management of event budgets, including the proficient handling of expense submissions to optimize financial resources and ensure the successful execution of events within specified financial parameters
- Thorough exploration and evaluation of diverse venues to identify optimal event locations, considering factors such as ambiance, logistics, and suitability, to ensure the selection of the most fitting and exceptional venues for successful events
- Work with analytics team to conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to glean insights into industry trends, benchmark best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation, ensuring a strategic edge by staying abreast of competitors' activities and industry dynamics
- Proactively engaging in event research to identify and evaluate a spectrum of opportunities, strategically pinpointing and recommending events that align with organizational objectives and target audiences, ensuring a discerning approach to event selection for maximum impact and brand exposure
- Facilitating and orchestrating internal event support requests, with a focus on small-scale in-office activities, to ensure seamless execution and enhance employee engagement, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Manage post-event follow up, including gathering feedback and evaluating event success
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in events management, marketing, communications, project management, or other related field
- Experience supporting multi-faceted small- and large-scale events on strict timelines with the partnership of various senior- and executive-level business stakeholders highly preferred
- Experience using Jira preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table
- Willingness to travel as required for events
The US base salary range for this position is $58,000.00 to $72,500 + variable compensation + benefits.
