The brand was designed to assist businesses that weren't financially in the space to afford a full-time marketing team but still wanted to have the best strategies for growth. This is provided through digital boot camps, webinars, and e-books. We provide an array of different tools to be able to assist small business owners in developing their brands. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Events Specialist to join our team. As anEvent Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing various events that align with our clients' marketing objectives. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events that leave a lasting impact and drive business results.Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, target audience, and budget constraints.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics, to meet client goals.
- Brainstorm and propose creative event concepts and themes that align with marketing strategies.
- Event Coordination and Execution:
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and vendor coordination.
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate event schedules and ensure all elements run smoothly on the day of the event.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, venues, and other service providers to ensure cost-effective event execution.
- Lead and supervise the day-of event operations, ensuring all tasks are completed according to the plan.
- Oversee event setup, vendor coordination, and attendee registration.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any event-related issues or last-minute changes.
- Maintain a calm and organized presence while managing event logistics on-site.
- Marketing Integration:
- Work in tandem with our digital marketing team to integrate events seamlessly into clients' overall marketing strategies.
- Utilize social media, email marketing, and other promotional tactics to maximize event attendance and engagement.
- Client Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on event progress and addressing any concerns or changes in direction.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with clients about event-related expenses, ensuring their satisfaction and financial comfort.
- Solicit feedback from clients post-event to assess satisfaction and gather insights for future improvements.
- Post-Event Analysis:
- Analyze the success of events based on predefined KPIs and metrics.
- Prepare post-event reports highlighting key takeaways and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
