Event Manager

FocusKPI is seeking an Event Manager for our client, a high-tech SaaS company. This position is for an Event Manager who will be a part of the Brand Events team. The role involves providing leadership and support for both in-person and digital events. In addition to having a core discipline in event operations, we require a team member with a strong background in producing digital events. You will need excellent project management skills to drive complex projects forward and execute deliverables on time. A strategic mindset is essential to ensure that work is being done efficiently, not only within our team but also throughout the organization.

Work Location: Remote in the U.S.
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $45/hr to $55/hr

Responsibilities:

• Lead program management and localization strategies of events
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define event objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes
• Lead and develop event strategies and agendas with key stakeholders to ensure it aligns with the overarching product roadmaps, event messaging pillars, business priorities and executive vision
• Involvement in all aspects of event operations with the goal of delivering best-in-class event experiences across the full event lifecycle (pre, onsite and post-event)
• Design event experiences that engage, educate, and entertain attendees while reflecting the company's values
• Monitor, evaluate, and review event operations for program quality and effectiveness
• Travel onsite to programs to ensure continuity and exceptional business partner service
• Manage final bill and post-program deliverables, including event analysis, budget reports, and attendee feedback
• Assist in any initiatives led by the Experiential Marketing team, with a willingness to jump into non-brand event projects when needed

Qualifications:

• 7 to 10+ years of proven event experience
• Team first mentality, with the willingness to be open, honest, and vulnerable to gain solid relationships across the entire Experiential Marketing team
• Experience planning and executing large-scale events and/or conferences virtually and in person
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superb prioritization skills to individually detect and deliver the most important things first
• Ability to effectively delegate work across teams, both local and remote, from internal and vendor support
• Strong budget and expense management, with familiarity working in different currencies
• Comfort around presenting event strategy, plans, and updates to executive leaders and key stakeholders
• Marketing communications experience
• General knowledge and comfort with event and project management software, including Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Swoogo, Keynote
