The Event Experience Coordinator plans and executes successful events virtually and across the country that advance Project Lead The Way’s mission and increases educator access to high quality professional development, brand experiences and growth opportunities. This role also contributes to projects related to quality assurance, event planning, scheduling, and development of PLTW meeting and event standards and protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the planning, content, and logistics management for virtual and in-person PLTW meetings and events including, run of show development, script management, meals, transportation, mementos, event registration setup and other event requirements and specifications.
- Provides onsite event support for PLTW events, demonstrating a strong service orientation to guests and internal PLTW team members.
- Contributes to the development and execution of process documents such as workflows, timelines, and task lists.
- Uses guest feedback and other data to help to continuously improve PLTW’s meetings and events, and to develop and document best practices.
- Contributes to the development of event resources and RFPs (request for proposals) in collaboration with other teams organizationally.
- Contributes to overall budget, forecasting, and event schedule management.
- Completes post-event tasks including reconciliation of expenses, evaluation of events, and reports on meeting results.
- Identify and recommend potential opportunities for PLTW to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends within profession and related field.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:KNOWLEDGE
- A bachelor’s degree in event management, communications, hospitality, media management, or a related field of study, or equivalent related experience.
- Meeting planning generalist with some event planning experience.
