Job Summary:
The Customer Event and Digital Experience Coordinator manages Tenaska Marketing Ventures' (TMV) Customer Events and provides graphic design support to the Customer Solutions & Strategy (CSS) team's customer initiatives. This role requires extensive experience in event planning, graphic design, web design, and form development. As the Customer Event and Digital Experience Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring each event is flawlessly executed from conception to completion. From designing event invitations, online forms, gift execution for holidays and special events, and promotional item procurement to on-site event coordination and post-event follow-up, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences for TMV's customers.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with the TMV commercial team to understand their Customer Event objectives, preferences, and budgetary considerations.
  • Develop and present creative event concepts and proposals, including designing invitations and web design elements, that align with client expectations.
  • Provides budgeting support and reporting for all expenses related to event management.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, audiovisual and name tag/collateral requirements, and vendor management.
  • Design and develop event-specific web pages and forms to facilitate registration, name tags, feedback collection, and other interactive elements.
  • Create and manage detailed event timelines, deadlines, duties, and schedules.
  • Oversee event contracts, setup, name tags, teardown, and on-site coordination to ensure smooth execution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure all parties are informed and aligned throughout the event planning process.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and debriefs to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event offerings, graphic design capabilities, web design elements, and form development strategies.
  • Graphic design support for CSS customer initiatives, collateral, and communication campaigns, including customer newsletter, the Customer Connect Portal, and other projects as assigned.
  • Conduct customer focused campaigns including holiday gifting and other engagement opportunities.
  • Utilize and assist in maintaining customer information housed in the CRM tool, Pipeliner.
  • Provides timely resolution for issues as they may arise.
  • Reliable, dependable, and predictable attendance is required.

Education/Experience/Skills and Basic Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in event management, graphic/web design, or related field (required).
  • Proven experience in event planning, graphic design, and coordination, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful events, graphic design projects, web design elements, and event form development.
  • Proficiency in event management and design software, graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), CRM platforms, web design tools (e.g., HTML/CSS, WordPress), form development platforms (e.g., Google Forms, Typeform), and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Travel could be up to 30% of the time depending on event needs throughout the year.
