```Job Summary```
Join our close knit team at Eagle View Hospitality contributing to the event planning and implementation for the company’s venues and contracts. Assist the Director of Hospitality with event strategy, planning, promotion, logistics and successful implementation. Lead event planning and coordination for The Black Hawk Hotel and Bar Winslow.
```Responsibilities```
Event Coordination (80%)
Assists the Director of Hospitality with event planning, strategy, promotion, logistics and implementation of all Eagle View Hospitality venues, which currently include The Black Hawk Hotel, Bar Winslow and the River Place Plaza.
Lead event planning and implementation for events at The Black Hawk Hotel and Bar Winslow. Working with guests from the first interaction up until the day of the event. Focuses on the back end of the events with completing and organizing guest contracts, payment and requests in guest event file. Working or scheduling employees for day of events if needed.
Guest Relations (20%)
As the face of the hotel, you are responsible for the first and lasting impressions which influence guest satisfaction and the reputation of the hotel. Strong interpersonal skills are required interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner. If needed, leads guests through the reservation booking and check-in efficiently. Ensures all necessary information is ready for guests to check-in.
```Skills```
· Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
· Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments regarding housekeeping services/activities
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and move continuously to inspect rooms on all floors of the hotel.
· Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment.
· Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgement.
· Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly using a positive, clear speaking voice.
· Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities.
· Must have excellent supervisory and leadership skills
