Role Description
This is an independent contracted, on-site Event Assistant role located in Bend, OR. As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with event planning and execution. Including coordinating with vendors, handling logistics/timeline management, and providing general support to the event team. We most often work as a team of 2-4, depending on the scope of the wedding.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with event planning and coordination (we are open to having you shadow 1-2 events to gain comfort first if you don't have experience)
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Customer service experience and ability to remain calm in high-emotion situations
Experience in event planning, customer service or a related field is desirable, but we are open to newbies too.
We are not hiring those interested in starting their own business. Availability on holiday weekends is a must (we usually split 4th of july weekend and labor day weekend, so if you work one, you don't work the other).
Compensation begins at $22/hour, but can go up. Holiday weekends are paid at an additional rate.
