Daisy + Sun Events is a wedding planning company focused on events that are customized and personalized to the couple. We most often work with couples that are wanting to enjoy their wedding day and have us handle the details.

Role Description

This is an independent contracted, on-site Event Assistant role located in Bend, OR. As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with event planning and execution. Including coordinating with vendors, handling logistics/timeline management, and providing general support to the event team. We most often work as a team of 2-4, depending on the scope of the wedding.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with event planning and coordination (we are open to having you shadow 1-2 events to gain comfort first if you don't have experience)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Customer service experience and ability to remain calm in high-emotion situations

Experience in event planning, customer service or a related field is desirable, but we are open to newbies too.

We are not hiring those interested in starting their own business. Availability on holiday weekends is a must (we usually split 4th of july weekend and labor day weekend, so if you work one, you don't work the other).

Compensation begins at $22/hour, but can go up. Holiday weekends are paid at an additional rate.
