Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings and related events from start to finish
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for the wedding
- Assist clients in selecting venues, vendors, and other service providers for the wedding
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for all aspects of the wedding
- Manage all logistics including transportation, accommodations, and guest services
- Oversee the setup and decoration of the wedding venue
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the wedding
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the planning process
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year in a customer service based job such as retail or food service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure all aspects of the wedding are executed flawlessly
- Upselling skills to recommend additional services or upgrades to clients
- Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations is a plus
- Knowledge of contracts and legal requirements related to event planning
- Proficiency in using event management software or tools is preferred
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for clients
