THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of B2B event marketing experience, with a focus on webinars, conferences, and thought leadership.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and event management software.
- Understanding of the insurance and healthcare and HR industries a plus.

Our client is an insurance technology company that is dedicated to revolutionizing the employee health benefits landscape. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Event Marketer to join their team on a freelance basis to drive the development and execution of engaging and informative webinars, conferences, and thought leadership programs, in addition to spreading awareness about the company and ICHRA in outside communities, including Reddit, relevant Slack channels, LinkedIn, Facebook groups and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- In tandem with our client's SVP of Marketing and Head of Content Marketing, help develop and execute a comprehensive B2B event marketing strategy that includes webinars, conferences, and thought leadership programs.
- Identify opportunities to spread awareness about the company and ICHRA through relevant communities both on social and in person. Spend time in relevant - and targeted - niche community platforms and drive the conversation towards our client's value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify event themes, topics, and speakers that align with our client's business objectives and industry trends.
- Drive attendance and engagement through targeted email campaigns, social media promotion, and other digital marketing efforts.
- Analyze and report on event metrics to measure ROI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Draft associated event collateral, from speaking notes, to presentation material, promotion campaigns and distribution partnerships.
