Compensation: $18.15 - $22.99 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment in school housekeeping and ability to use them with skill and efficiency.

• 
  Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building surfaces.

• 
  Skill in the use of electrical and hand appliances ordinarily used in housekeeping activities.

• 
  Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to structures and equipment.

• 
  Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• 
  Physical strength to withstand the strain of performing eight hours of manual tasks.

• 
  High moral standards and character necessary for association with children.

• 
  Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, students and general public.

• 
  Preferably six months of experience in work relating to the care of school buildings and grounds

• 
  Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions.

• 
  Ability to use email desired.
