Position Summary:
- System tester to serve as main engineering support with customer and Japanese product evaluation team
- Function and black box testing and roading testing of infotainment system
- Evaluation radio products
- Track, investigate and solve engineering issues
- Evaluate /analyze / counter measure claims during development and production with Japan, customer and plants for electronics software issues
- Create test case and test plans, provide customer plant fallouts for root cause from electrical perspective
- Create technical reports
- Prepare material and develop issue list for customer meeting
- Attend customer meeting
- The tester will be participating in group evaluations of benchmarking and internal monitor vehicles and assisting the evaluation team with research and documentation tasks.
- Schedule would be 40 hrs/week.
- Driving test will be required
Requirements:
- Looking for candidate with associate degree in electronics and good experience in automotive system or electronics.
- Understanding of black box testing, connected service, HF, BT, and cell phone connectivity is a plus.
- Most importantly, the candidate must have a passion for audio, electronics, mechanical, hands on experience with some form of car work (studio sound, live sound, car audio, home audio, etc.), and practical knowledge of automobiles.
