Roush has an immediate opening for a full-time Special Vehicle Tester to perform unique and specialized testing using connected vehicle features that cannot be done during mileage accumulation. This position is in Allen Park, Michigan, and the shift is Tuesday - Friday 6AM - 4PM.

As a Special Vehicle Tester, you will be responsible for:

• Performing specialized vehicle testing using the connected vehicle features while following customer procedures
• Completing test and evaluation forms
• Interacting with customer engineers, answering questions and providing feedback

To be considered as a Special Vehicle Tester, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year prior experience in a vehicle evaluator role or equivalent experience
• A valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• The ability to articulate your experiences and issues in testing documents
• To be able to perform basic functions in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) as well as on a mobile communication device (cell phone apps)
• Good communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• To be a self-starter & self-motivated
• To work in a team atmosphere & learn new tasks
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
• To travel on rare occasions

Preferred credential / skills:

• Chauffeur’s license
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
