EV Portfolio Manager

Our EV Portfolio Manager will be excited by the idea of getting out from behind a desk, getting in front of local businesses, and experiencing the world of business firsthand. We are looking for entrepreneurial candidates who take pride in the measurable results of their work— from savings in their client's bottom line and individual contributions to the sales team goals. This successful team member will work in tandem with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. Support a collaborative work environment including courteous, helpful, and professional behavior.

WIZIX EV Division:

WIZIX EV Division is a new department of WIZIX that solely focuses on power through clean energy and that delivers sustainability. We believe Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are a way for us to capitalize on the rapid push for electric vehicles and an overall, more sustainable Planet. This division will bring EV chargers to market through WIZIX's existing dealer network as well as look for new opportunities for our current network to expand.

WIZIX EV Portfolio Manager RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become familiar with WIZIX EV Products and Services
  • Sell WiZiX's products and services through a consultative outside B2B sales approach
  • Develop and lead the execution of the organization's EV charging strategy. This includes problem solving, reasoning, independent decision-making, analyzing, and running the EV portfolio in a manner that gives the organization the highest likelihood of success.
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Write proposals and negotiate terms of contracts
  • Report to VP of Sales with weekly, monthly and quarterly results
  • Work alongside marketing to promote the organizations EV plans and network to customers and key industry stakeholders.
  • Gather market insight and competitive intelligence in the EV charging market
  • Play an ongoing role in managing customer expectations, ensuring changing customer needs are met, and assist in addressing any service and operations shortfalls.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • 3+ years in sales and/or business development experience or knowledge required
  • 3+ years of experience with contract execution and negotiation experience is required
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a portfolio of EV charging stations is required
  • Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large groups
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties while demonstrating critical thinking skills
  • Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) required
  • Familiarity with Google and Zoho applications sets you apart
  • Experience presenting to executive level management preferred
  • Strong professional communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person), problem-solving, negotiation skills, technical capacity, project management, and collaboration
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company or team information
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, be adaptable to change, anticipate upcoming needs, and prioritize work
  • Ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize
  • Strives for excellence by setting priorities and following through
