The Superintendent of Schools announces the following positions to support students in the Extended School Year (ESY) program this summer.
Special Education Clerk ESY Program
Extended School Year Program Frank M. Silvia Elementary School
DATES: 07/01/2024-08/01/2024
HOURS: 8:30am to 12:30 pm = 4hours per day
4 days per week Monday thru Thursday
TITLE: ESY Special Education Clerk
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience in working with various software applications (e.g. MicroSoft Office, X2, Google mail/doc's)
• Basic knowledge of office machine's (copier, fax, scanner)
• Demonstrated positive rapport in working collaboratively with others

REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator/Program Director
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:These responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrated ability to collect, process and maintain confidential data related to staff and/or students
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others and to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare official correspondence, maintain filing system for confidential staffing records and files (e.g. personnel, medical, transportation)
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others (including Parents, Teachers, Paraprofessionals and other personnel) within an educational office environment
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Program Director/Site Coordinator
• Coordinate transportation needs on a day to day basis
• Track attendance sheets, daily

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Fall River Clerical Employees Association contract.
