Job Overview:
- J&S siding is currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team of Awesome! In this position you will work with several parts of our company from clients and subcontractors to suppliers and vendors. Responsibilities Include:
- Perform preliminary site survey and site investigation.
- Drafting various types of construction.
- Communicate and consult with Project Managers, clients, vendors and teams on cost , plans, and budget issues.
- Obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing for assigned projects.
- Assist with construction schedule.
- Assist in the finalization of estimate summary.
- Prepare pre-bid and contract scope descriptions for sub contractors and vendors.
- Help management in bidding.
- Use and maintain systems and directories of suppliers and vendors to plan future project budgets.
- Review material and labor cost for accuracy.
Candidate must have the following:
- Home and construction Knowledge.
- Construction estimate experience (2 years preferred) / Residential Construction.
- Auto-Cad experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Team player attitude.
