Estimator, Experiential Team

Job description

BluEdge's Experiential Team is looking for a reliable, hardworking Estimator to complete detail-oriented estimates / quotes for current and prospective clients. Your role as estimator will include interaction with multiple departments that collaborate on these creative projects. These departments include technical design, custom fabrication, large formatting, 3D printing, painting, and installation. Your role will carry across many vertical markets including retail, events, architecture and more. Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements from clients. Applicants must be well versed in common materials, processes, and production. 

Responsibilities:

• Understand and dissect technical drawings, shop drawings, and design intent decks.
• Understanding project schedules and work back schedules, ensuring all cost are accounted for.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Technical Design, production, packing and install teams on project requirements, strategy and execution.
• Monitor and control project budgets, including cost control measures
• Collaborate with clients to address any concerns or issues that arise during the estimating process
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience Quoting projects
• Proven experience in experiential and environmental buildouts
• Strong knowledge of materials 
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and design intent decks
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
