Auto Body Estimator

Autobody collision repair shop is seeking an Entry Level Estimator to add to our team. Professionals applying for this position should have a minimum of 1 plus years of previous estimating experience. We are looking for a team player that is dedicated.

Body Shop Estimator - Essential Duties

• Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
• Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
• Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
• Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
• Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.
• Manage all job from beginning to end. Coordinate with tech on all repairs.
• Job Scheduling and Parts ordering.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Body Shop Estimator – Requirements and Experience

• Experience with CCC ONE & CCC managing programs.
• Able to communicate with customers, insurance companies and technicians.
• Experience with negotiation skills with insurance companies.
• Managing all parts ordering Parts from vendors.
• Meeting with Adjusters and Maintaining Insurance Relationships.
• Customer Service skills are a must!
• 1 years of previous estimating experience is preferred.
