Autobody collision repair shop is seeking an Entry Level Estimator to add to our team. Professionals applying for this position should have a minimum of 1 plus years of previous estimating experience. We are looking for a team player that is dedicated.
Body Shop Estimator - Essential Duties
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
- Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.
- Manage all job from beginning to end. Coordinate with tech on all repairs.
- Job Scheduling and Parts ordering.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Body Shop Estimator – Requirements and Experience
- Experience with CCC ONE & CCC managing programs.
- Able to communicate with customers, insurance companies and technicians.
- Experience with negotiation skills with insurance companies.
- Managing all parts ordering Parts from vendors.
- Meeting with Adjusters and Maintaining Insurance Relationships.
- Customer Service skills are a must!
- 1 years of previous estimating experience is preferred.
