Spherion is hiring an Estimator for a local supply company! The ideal candidate will be a person that loves to get the right answer, very organized, task-oriented and very detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Generate estimates/bids to be submitted to contractors for potential future construction projects. ...

Reading and interpreting floor plans and architectural specifications.
Entering requirements from the plans and specifications into our software.
Verify all scheduled material matches/meets the plans and specifications for the project.
Verify all pricing of scheduled materials is correct and obtain quotations if not correct.
Generating submittals from the data in the software.
Requesting revised quotes for the materials used.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work experience in an office environment
Computer literacy & competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
