Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will have 5 plus years of estate litigation experience. - Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
- Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
- Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Appear as lead counsel for Evidentiary Hearings and Trials
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California
- Must have at least five years of litigation experience in Estate Planning, trust administration, and probate
- Must have the ability to function at a high level and work independently while handling a have caseload
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
