ESL Test Scoring $17/Hour (Remote, Texas or Wisconsin Residents)

Wage: $17/Hour

REQUIRED Degree and Experience. To apply, you must have all three:

• Already completed, unexpired minimum 120-hour TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certificate or an M.A. TESOL (Teaching license certifications and endorsements do not qualify)
• Experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language to students age high school to adult (experience with younger students does not qualify)
• Already-completed bachelor’s degree

Use rubrics and scoring guides to score hand-written essays in stringent adult English language proficiency exams.

Provide your own desktop computer, laptop, or Chromebook. No smart phones, iPads, tablets, or tablets that convert to a laptop.

Must pass end of training tests to qualify for actual work.

Schedule: Minimum of 16 hours per week required. Maximum 40 hours per week.

Shifts available 7 days a week (you can only work 6 days a week max) 6 am to 10 pm daily.

Preferred experience:

• Formal assessment of English language competence of high school to adult non-native speakers
• Teaching of English for Academic or Specific Purposes, or to medical professionals/trainees

Dates: 12–15 hours of paid training required. You must pass end of training tests to qualify for work. Scoring queues are restocked every two weeks. This project is ongoing. Minimum 6 month commitment required.
