Work remotely from your home in Texas, Illinois, or Minnesota!
Wage: $17/Hour
REQUIRED Degree and Experience. To apply, you must have all three:
- Already completed, unexpired minimum 120-hour TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification or an M.A. TESOL. (Teaching license certifications and endorsements do not qualify.)
- Experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language to students age high school through adult (Experience with younger students does not qualify.)
- Already-completed bachelor’s degree
Use rubrics and scoring guides to score Writing (hand-written essays) or Speaking (recorded spoken responses) in stringent adult English language proficiency exams.
Provide your own desktop computer, laptop, or Chromebook. No smart phones, iPads, tablets, or tablets that convert to a laptop.
Must pass end of training tests to qualify for actual work.
Schedule: Minimum of 16 hours per week required. Maximum 40 hours per week.
Shifts available 7 days a week (you can only work 6 days a week max) 6 am to 10 pm daily.
Preferred experience:
- Formal assessment of English language competence of non-native speakers
- Teaching of English for Academic or Specific Purposes, or to medical professionals/trainees
Dates: 12–15 hours of paid training required. You must pass end of training tests to qualify for work. Scoring queues are restocked every two weeks. This project is ongoing. Minimum 6 month commitment required.
