Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other professionals in the real estate industry, including real estate agents and loan officers
- Review complex documents such as purchase and sale agreements and lender instructions and monitor compliance with contracts
- Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts
- Prepare and deliver closing documents to buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders
- Facilitate the disbursement of escrow funds
- Perform administrative tasks
- High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred
- Previous experience as an Escrow Officer Assistant is preferred but not required
- Understanding of real estate contracts, the loan process, title insurance, and the escrow process
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computer software, familiarity with title and escrow software is preferred
