Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in escrow with a title insurance company required.
- Assist Escrow Officer in managing escrow transactions from start to finish.
- Prepare and review escrow documents, including contracts, addendums, and amendments.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Conduct research and analysis on title curative issues.
- Assist with the preparation of closing packages and disbursement of funds.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for each transaction.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer knowledge and the ability to work some overtime is required.
The best candidate will have the ability to interpret agreements, order title reports, conduct escrow signings, assist with closings, and complete escrow transactions.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience in escrow title insurance is required.
