Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our Federal Engineered Systems team. We are looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force in growing client relationships and business in our Department of State and related national security markets.

As the Account Executive you will develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons’ presence across DOS and related organizations. The successful candidate will provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, and identify opportunities that position Parsons to expand its presence in the national security community with a specific focus on providing solutions that support the development of technical security, contingency response, and various mission enabling solutions. You will engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and within the customer space.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years diversified experience in Business Development and/or Customer Account leadership focused on technical security and mission enabling solutions or equivalent experience as a Government executive level civilian supporting DOS and related organizations
  • Understand the interplay between various DOS bureaus, and as a member of the national security interagency working group.
  • Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the DOS security competitive landscape.
  • Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align Parson’s capabilities, experience, investments, and resources.
  • Capable of developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results
  • Understanding of current market trends and differentiated solutions in this space.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%.
  • Eligibility for TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Ability to act as a Parsons ambassador to support participation in applicable conferences, exhibits and industry engagements to promote Parsons’ capabilities.

Salary Range:
