ERP Conversion & Clean Up Lead

What is the role?

You will be a part of a team that assists in client accounting and operating software conversions.

You will manage the day-to-day performance of client projects, take ownership of end products, and perform clean-up / heavy reconciliation of historical financial, transactional, and master records.

The ERP Conversion Lead will work with both the Solved by Tanna CFO/Controller and client leadership to build tools, templates, and processes for ensuring data conversion activities are of high quality, repeatable, and effective.

You will develop creative solutions to complex problems, recommend best practices, juggle multiple priorities, connect the dots between operational, tactical, and strategic areas, and lead projects and teams.

Who, what, and how?

• Based out of Tampa, FL
• Collaborate with project team members and lead customers through the data conversion process.
• Conduct mapping review calls and contribute to standard project touchpoint throughout project.
• You will work within your team and cross functional with other departments such as CFO/Controller, Business Optimization, etc.

  • You will receive 1on1 development including leading high-performance teams, effective communication with stakeholders, execs and individuals, structure and execution of problem solving.
• Local travel to client sites is sometimes required.

Other abilities required:

• Mastery of Accounting Principles.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Information Systems and data tools.
• Mastery of moderate to complex account reconciliations. 
• Strong ability to reconcile cross-systems and sources (2 to 4-way reconciliations).
• Strong ability to clean-up years of accounting and financial records effectively and efficiently. 
• Review and oversight of detailed and complex account reconciliations.
• Monitor and review financial documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Establish and oversee processes for maintaining documentation.
• Ability to document and maintain concise, relevant notes on complex matters.
• Ensure and drive compliance to client’s internal policies and procedures.
• Ability to consume large amounts of information about all aspects of a business including sales, quoting, project management, manufacturing/execution, accounting, and HR. 
• Ability to document and maintain concise, relevant notes on complex matters.
• Ability to manage, scrub, and reconcile large amounts of data.
• Ability to follow processes for maintaining documentation and integrity.
• Ability to switch cross-functional between multiple engagements.
• Must be comfortable working with clients, technical teammates, and independently.
• Day-to-day management of processes and execution of:
  • Meetings with other departments and provide updates regarding conversion status.
  • Documenting work performed in a project management tool.

Minimum qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

• 3+ years of experience in a similar Accounting or Data Analyst role. 
  • Preferred experience:
    • Advanced Excel and/or SQL or BI queries.
    • Consultant in a professional service firm.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and understanding of data flow between applications.
• Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite. (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)
• General Windows Administration and components such as working with services, RDP, SFTP, shared folders, etc.
