Job Responsibilities
As an Equipment Technician, you will use your electro-mechanical skills to maintain and repair production processing equipment and the supporting facilities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical processing and support equipment.
- Responsibility for maintaining uptime on fab equipment; specifically photolithographic, etch, including DRIE, deposition, dicing and measurement equipment.
- Repair/maintain semiconductor process equipment in cleanroom production/laboratory environment.
- Installation and qualification of new equipment.
- Initial testing and diagnostic checks of equipment.
- Defining and executing maintenance procedures
- Performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment.
- Perform equipment set-up changes, modifications, and upgrades, supporting production and development by running equipment and building proto-types and qualification samples.
- Improve current PM and troubleshooting tracking mechanisms
- Assist with minor facility maintenance/repair issues as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years electro-mechanical equipment maintenance & repair
- Ability and willingness to work in a Class 100 cleanroom environment.
- Experience creating and following preventative maintenance schedules
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
- Meticulous and quality focused.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Computer literacy and experience with MS Office products required.
Desired Skills
- Semiconductor/MEMS/Microelectronics equipment experience
- Vacuum system experience
- Formal electronics training
