As a Equipment Support Tech, you'll retrieve, clean, decontaminate, and prepare patient care equipment used by clinical areas in the hospital. Will help out in decontamination if time permits.

Responsibilities
- Consistently inspects the integrity of the equipment.
- Consistently maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Inspects all movable parts according to policy.
- Consistently labels equipment accurately, legibly and in a timely manner.
- Understands and practices basis aseptic principles.
- Understands the importance of precisely following guidelines for decontamination of equipment.
- Keeps accurate and legible ledger on all equipment.
- Prepares cleaning solution accurately.
- Practices good personal hygiene.
- Understands and complies with infection control policies and procedures such as hand washing, containment of infections agents/materials.
- Attends in-service programs and complies with general safety guidelines, fire safety rules, hazard communications, emergency codes and procedures.
