Job Summary
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment, machinery, and specialized equipment used in the operation and maintenance of the water system.
Completing basic maintenance tasks
Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Insures the proper maintenance of equipment and tools by cleaning and checking equipment and tools after use
Responsible for grounds maintenance (cutting grass, trimming, edging, clearing weeds from flower beds, etc)
Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
Performs other related duties as directed
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records are required
Experience operating manual and power tools
Ability to work independently
Must be available to work overtime and ‘on-call’ as needed
