Equipment Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, such as , backhoes, dozers, bobcats, compactor. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment for digs, backfill, finish grading.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress

Experience:
- experience operating heavy equipment in for new construction or similar setting
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment including backhoes, dozers, bobcats, and compactors.
- Ability to read survey, prints to excavate new home construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.23 - $30.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
