EPIC Reporting & Analytics Lead

About the role: As the Epic Analytics Lead, you will empower our team of data analysts to transform healthcare data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for developing data-driven strategies to optimize our operations, enhance patient care, and drive strategic growth. Working closely with leadership and key stakeholders, you will ensure data quality, implement best practices, and drive the continuous improvement of our data analytics capabilities.
Overview of Responsibilities
You should be highly technical with Cogito (certification preferred) and have strong EPIC Cogito/Slicer Dicer skills.
Extensive knowledge of advanced Data Analytics/architecture
Strong ability to mentor and supervise reporting/analytics resources, meet SLAs, reduce backlog, provide insights for revenue generation and improved patient outcomes, etc.
Proven knowledge of Azure /GCP/ PowerBI a huge plus
Epic Cogito Expertise: Leverage Workbench, Reporting Server, Radar, Caboodle, and other Cogito tools to design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Partner with leadership, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and translate insights into actionable solutions.
Ensure data quality and integrity through effective data governance processes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Champion data analysis best practices within the team and explore new technologies, innovations, and methodologies.
Effectively communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences in clear and concise language.
Maintain awareness of the latest trends and advancements in healthcare data analytics and the Epic Cogito ecosystem.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our data analytics infrastructure and capabilities.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Strong proficiency in Epic Cogito and its functionalities (Workbench, Reporting Server, Radar, Caboodle).
- Proven expertise in designing and building reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative and empowering approach.
- Project management experience and demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows, terminologies, and regulations is a significant advantage.
- Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
